Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club is one of 8,500 Kiwanis Clubs totaling over 300,000 members in 79 nations and geographic areas around the world.
Since November of 1956, the
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Woodside Terrace Kiwanis Club, founded in 1956, sponsored the Peninsula A.M. club in 1979. We joined forces in 1987, consolidating the two clubs into our current Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club. Based in Redwood City, California the Woodside Terrace Kiwanis Club is devoted to service in the local community.

Bike Rodeo at Fair Oaks School
The next Bike Rodeo is scheduled for Saturday June 14 at Fair Oaks School.
Tour de Cure
Thank you Kiwanians George and Elizabeth for triple duty picking up supplies in Palo Alto, setting up the refreshment station at Tunitas Road and Highway 1 on the coast, working an extended shift and redelivering supplies in Palo Alto. Mike staffed the refreshment stations for a few hours along with some help from Larry and Glenn B. This Tour de Cure on June 8th raises funds for American Diabetes Association is second only to the event in Napa. 2008 is the first year that Division 34 Kiwanians formed a team of riders to help raise funds. As in prior years, Kiwanis has helped with logistical support by staffing refreshment stations throughout the course.
Habitat for Humanity
Thank you Kiwanis members for volunteering a full day at Habitat for Humanity in Redwood City. Stephen, Paul, Donna, George K. Barbara and Mike spent the full day helping build new homes in Redwood City. Elizabeth stopped by as well to take photos. Pictured below are Kiwanians hanging drywall.
